Glenn Wood has spent his entire working career repairing cars. At 17 he got his first job working on cars and running a gas station. From there, he started his own business, Glenwood Foreign Car, in 1977. “I went to college and didn’t get much out of that,” Wood said during a break from car repairs at his shop on Woolston Drive, where he’s been located the last 24 years.

Waste Management - Trash Issues

Over the last few months, it has been impossible to ignore the fact that the trash and recycling collections by Waste Management in Falls Township have been very inconsistent. There have been times when trash and recycling are picked up a day late, or not picked up at all. This issue has affected every part of the Township, and the Township government has had numerous meetings and discussions with staff and executives from Waste Management to address the problems.

Falls Set to Begin 2018 Road Improvement Program

In an effort to maintain quality roads, the Falls Township Supervisors plan to undertake its annual road improvement program this summer. The Supervisors unanimously voted to authorize the advertisement of its 2018 road program.

Police Chief Warns Parents About Lookalike Guns

Falls Township Police Chief William Wilcox and his officers are seeing far too many images of kids pointing BB guns or pellet guns that look eerily like the real thing. Wilcox said he is seeing more instances of kids sharing images of themselves on Snapchat and other social media platforms holding what amounts to be toy guns. For many, it’s hard to tell the difference between the lookalike toy guns and actual weapons, he said.

The Falls Township Board of Supervisors joined five other Bucks County municipalities and a growing number of municipal governments statewide in supporting the creation of a citizen’s commission to oversee legislative and congressional redistricting.
