Falls Set to Begin 2018 Road Improvement Program

In an effort to maintain quality roads, the Falls Township Supervisors plan to undertake its annual road improvement program this summer.

The Supervisors unanimously voted to authorize the advertisement of its 2018 road program.

The governing body has budgeted for the full depth road reconstruction of Share Drive, the remaining portion of Walton Drive and a section of Lions Drive between Share Drive and Walton Drive.

Advertisement would be made in May and a winning bid would likely be awarded in June, with work beginning in late June and continuing through October, according to Township Engineer Jim Sullivan.

The Supervisors remain committed to maintaining safe roadways through annual road improvement projects. Each year Falls officials designate specific roads for upgrades.
