To the residents of Falls Township;
While we all are facing the Covid-19 pandemic, we at Falls Township want you to know that we are doing everything humanly possible to protect our residents from the spread of this virus. One thing we can assure you is that this will end one day and things will get back to normal, but in the meantime, please do everything that the township, county, state and federal government is asking you to do to limit your exposure and possibly spreading it. If everyone heeds the warnings and does what is asked, like stay at home, limiting groups to less than 10, washing your hands, don’t travel unnecessarily, and that will slow the spread of the disease. If we practice these requests for just the next couple of weeks we should see if our efforts have worked and if we are seeing a reduction in cases. While the number of confirmed cases may go up, this may be due to the fact that more testing is now available and more people are being tested.
We also want you to know that we are in constant contact with our counterparts at the county and state level, working together in an effort to flatten the curve of people coming down with this virus. We are also working together with all of our first responders, as well as in contact with the local hospital to keep everyone up to date on the status of the pandemic.
