The Millcreek Inn, a popular neighborhood bar and restaurant, will have more space in its future.

During Monday’s meeting, the Falls Supervisors unanimously approved a 1,051-square-foot building addition for the eatery, which is located at 9169 Mill Creek Road. Along with the restaurant addition, the board granted preliminary and final land development approval for construction of a 2,173-square-foot repair shop and storage area on the 16.29-acre site.

In other business, the board ratified an application for the Pennsbury School District requesting assistance in applying for the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program Grant.

Township attorney Mike Clarke said that if the grant is awarded, Pennsbury School District would be the beneficiary. In order to apply, the district was required to have a municipality “sign off on the grant” as a local sponsor.

“There is no cost to the township,” Clarke said. “No liability.”

Funding is being sought for a new Pennsbury High School.
